Pour faire suite à mon article Beautiful Brighton, je vais vous parler shopping dans ce deuxième article. Brighton est une ville où plusieurs grandes enseignes bien connues ont une boutique. D'autres sont plus petites, plus "underground" et pleine de charme qui méritent tout autant d'y faire un tour!

Je vais commencer par les enseignes les plus connues et grands magasins. Pour ceux qui aiment l'expérience des centres commerciaux, vous trouverez le Churchill Square Shopping Center avec entre autre: Clarks, Debenhams, River Island, Superdrug, Topshop et Urban Outfitters. A proximité de ce centre commercial, vous avez également Primark (personnellement, le magasin ne m'a pas enchanté), Mark &  Spencers ou HomeSense. Si j'avais pu ramener de la déco de ce magasin, je l'aurais fait!

Au croisement entre West Street et North Street, un grand Boots fait l'angle - le paradis des blogueuses beauté! J'ai adoré faire mon shopping là-bas et si cela vous intéresse de savoir ce que j'ai ramené, rendez-vous ici. Toujours à cet endroit, j'ai beaucoup aimé faire un tour chez Waterstone qui est une chaîne de librairie. Mes rayons préférés? La cuisine et la littérature jeunesse!

En continuant sur North Street, vous pouvez faire un arrêt chez TK Maxx qui est une sorte de magasin de destockage très populaire en Grande-Bretagne. Vous trouverez également Tiger un peu plus loin, The White Company ou encore Kurt Geiger. Si vous descendez East Street, d'autres magasins - plus haut de gamme, vous attendent: AllSaints ou Coast par exemple. C'est sur East Street que je me suis arrêtée pour faire quelques achats chez Crabtree & Evelyn, ainsi que chez Paperchase. Lorsque East Street et Bartholomews Street se croisent, remonter cette dernière et faîtes un tour chez Space NK pour une expérience beauté ultra luxueuse.

Dans les rues étroites des Lanes, vous trouverez beaucoup de bijouteries anciennes, des pâtisseries et confiseries comme Chocoholly ou Angel Food Bakery. Un boutique a attiré mon attention: Creased Card qui est une boutique de cartes uniques en son genre. Créations originales, humour british, jolis design,vous y trouverez forcément une carte faite pour vous!

Dans North Laine, beaucoup de magasins valent le détour. Sur Bond Street, je me suis arrêtée chez Oliver Bonas, très jolie marque qui regroupe décoration, bijoux, livres, vêtements, etc. En face, j'ai découvert Sass & Belle, marque très girly de décoration, accessoires, bref, des trucs de filles! 

Remontez Church Street et vous découvrirez Unlimited. J'ai eu un vrai coup de coeur pour cette boutique très colorée renfermant plein de trésors. De belles affiches, tableaux, objets raviront les amateurs de graphisme.

Continuez sur Gardner Street et faites un arrêt chez Edited, qui est aussi magasin avec plein d'objets tendance. Pour les amateurs de thé, allez chez Bluebird Tea & Co qui est une marque du sud de l'Angleterre qui commence à se développer. Elle réalise ses mélanges elle-même avec des associations originales pour faire de chaque tasse de thé un moment de plaisir et de découverte.

A l'intersection entre Gardner Street et North Road, découvrez le magasin bio Infinity Foods - tant pour une pause snack que pour la curiosité de produits que nous n'aurions pas en France, ce magasin regorge de jolies et bonnes choses! Vous avez également Infinity Foods Kitchen sur Gardner Street si vous voulez manger du fait maison bio et végétarien.

Traversez encore un peu plus North Laine et découvrez Zoingimage sur Sydney Street. Petite entreprise autour de la photographie et de ses dérivés. J'y ai trouvé de magnifiques cartes postales de Brighton. Certes un petit peu plus cher mais cela en valait vraiment la peine!

Il n’était pas possible de terminer ma journée shopping sans une pause thé. Mon choix s'est porté sur le salon Blackbird Tea Rooms sur Ship Street. Ce salon de thé nous plonge dans un endroit où le temps s'est arrêté au siècle dernier. L'intérieur en bois, la porcelaine ancienne, bref, un petit voyage à travers le temps juste en poussant cette porte.

Mon choix s'est porté sur le thé Rose Congou que j'ai accompagné d'une part de Carrot Cake! C'était un vrai moment de détente et de gourmandise où je voyais la vie animée de Brighton défiler devant moi (oui, j'étais "en vitrine"!).

J'espère que cette petite balade shopping vous a plu. En tout cas, Brighton est une ville où il fait bon de flâner!

To continue after my Beautiful Brighton post, I'll talk about shopping in this one. Brighton is a city where you can find several well known brands. Others are more "underground" and full of charm that deserve equal to be discover!

I'll start with the most famous stores. For those who enjoy the experience of shopping centers, you will find the Churchill Square Shopping Center with among others: Clarks, Debenhams, River Island, Superdrug, Topshop and Urban Outfitters. Next to this shopping center, you also have Primark (personally, I didn't like the store in Brighton), Mark &  Spencers or HomeSense. If I could bring back some items from this shop, I would have done!

At the intersection between West Street and North Street, a large Boots is there - the paradise of beauty bloggers! I loved to shop there and if you are interested to know what I brought, go here. Always there, I enjoyed my time in Waterstone  which is a bookstore chain. My favorite rays? The cooking aread and children's literature!

Continuing on North Street, you can make a stop at TK Maxx which is a very popular retailer store in UK. You'll also find Tiger a little further, The White Company or Kurt Geiger. If you walk down East Street, other stores - more higher end, await you: AllSaints or Coast for example. It's on East Street that I stopped to do some shopping at Crabtree & Evelyn, and among to Paperchase. When Bartholomews Street and East Street are crossing, go up it and take a trip to Space NK for an ultra luxurious beauty experience.

In the narrow streets of the Lanes, you will find many antique jewelery, pastries and sweets as Chocoholly or Angel Food Bakery. A shop caught my attention: Creased Card  which is an unique card shop of its kind. Original creations, british humor, pretty design, you will find the perfect card for you!

In North Laine, many shops are worth visiting. On Bond Street, I stopped at Oliver Bonas, very pretty brand for decoration, jewelry, books, fashion, etc. In front, I discovered Sass & Belle, girly brand with decoration, accessories, in short, girl stuffs!

Continue on Church Street and discover Unlimited. maybe my favorite of alls, which is a very colorful shop full of treasures. Beautiful posters, pictures, graphics objects will delight you.

Walk on Gardner Street and make a stop at Edited also a store full of trendy and original items. For tea lovers, go to Bluebird Tea & Co, which is a brand of southern England which begins to extend. They create their blends with original associations to make each cup of tea a moment of pleasure and discovery.

At the Gardner Street and North Road crossing, discover the Infinity Foods organic store - for a snack or the curiosity to check products we wouldn't have in France, this shop full of beautiful and yummi products! You also have Infinity Foods Kitchen on Gardner Street if you want to eat freshly cooked organic and vegetarian food.

Go further in the North Laine and discover Zoingimage on Sydney Street. Small photography family business. I found beautiful postcards of Brighton. Although a little more expensive but well worth it!

It couldn't complete my shopping day without a tea break. My choice went to the Blackbird Tea Rooms living on Ship Street. This coffee shop dives us into a place where time stopped in the last century. The wooden interior, antique porcelain, in short, a journey through time by just pushing that door.

I drank a Tea Rose Congou with a piece of Carrot Cake! It was a real moment of relaxation and indulgence where I watched the Brighton life in front of me (yes, I was sitting "in front of the window"!).

I hope you enjoyed this shopping walk as much I did. Brighton is really a city where it is lovely to wander around!
